Ricardo Abrahao was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and started his career working on product and graphic design, working with the Campanha brothers on artistic projects for The Guggenheim, MoMA and Lacoste, among others.

He first fell in love with photography when he went backpacking around Asia for 8 months and he later went to study photography in Paris. He had his images exhibited in Arles for the Photography Festival, in Cannes for the Advertising Festival and in Paris.
