NUMÉRO RUSSIA: Alexina, dear. Such a pleasure dealing with you and having you on set. What is the best ‘thing’ you will take with you from this experience?
ALEXINA: I love my job and I love working with creative and talented people. This team and shoot were very special to me, firstly having already worked with Andreas before and loving his photography, and secondly it’s always been a dream to shoot a cover for Numero, it has been on my list for 13 years, ever since I started this career. It was so special that at the end of the shoot I cried tears of joy! I just couldn’t believe that I shot for this magazine, let alone shooting the cover. A big thank you to Ilaria for believing and seeing the high fashion potential in me.

NUMÉRO RUSSIA: You are one of the most appreciated talents in the industry, and yet you seem to keep your attitude always very humble, kind, caring. This is refreshing and beautiful. Does it come natural to you?
ALEXINA: Thank you, but I honestly love this job, I love meeting new people and getting to travel the world. I am in such a lucky position. I’m just a small town girl from Worksop in the UK and i still can’t believe I’m in this new exciting fashion world. I am super close to my family and I go home around every 6 weeks to see them. My family are my center and keep me grounded. At the end of the day its hard work from the whole crew that makes any shoot amazing, from the producers, to lighting, to camera crew and styling etc. It really is a team effort.

NUMÉRO: Originally from the UK, but now always all over the world. Do you miss home?
ALEXINA: Yes I always miss home but I speak to my family daily, via text or facetime which is amazing. I am also lucky enough to go home anytime I have a free moment or if I work in Europe I like to visit my family before and after the job.

NUMÉRO RUSSIA: Traveling is a relevant part of your career. How do you manage to keep balance between your schedule and your personal life, including keeping your values in place, your emotional and physical well being a priority?
ALEXINA: Honestly the best answer for this is probably what I said before, its my family that keep me grounded but I also have great friends around me and ones who have been in the industry a long time too. I have grown up with them and they are like family to me. Another thing that I do for my physical and emotional wellbeing is working out. I go between CrossFit and boxing, it’s amazing for clearing the mind.
